When you create or join a group on radiocal.com, you're entering into a rental agreement with Radiocal for the radio(s) covered by that booking. Each person pays for their own radio (or one person pays for the whole group at once) — the rental fee and deposit are shown before you confirm.
The rental fee covers your chosen hire period and is non-refundable once your rental has started. The deposit is not charged when you pay — your card is saved securely, and the deposit is only ever charged if your radio isn't returned in the condition it was given to you.
Cancel more than 48 hours before your rental start date and you'll get a full refund. Cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, or don't collect your radio on your start date, and it's treated as a late cancellation — the rental fee isn't refunded. Since the deposit is only ever charged on a radio that's actually gone out and hasn't come back, a late cancellation before collection has no deposit charge to worry about either way.
If you don't return your radio by the end of your rental period, or don't show up for your scheduled drop-off, you'll be charged for an additional rental period at the same length as your original booking. You can avoid this by arranging an extension with us at least 24 hours before your return date.
If a radio is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, we'll use your deposit toward the cost of repair or replacement. If that cost is more than your deposit, you're responsible for the difference, up to the full replacement cost of the equipment.
Radios are provided for recreational use and used at your own risk. We're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Radiocal is operated by Nefolo Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
