Who we are

Radiocal (radiocal.com) rents group radios for ski and mountain trips. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this site and the booking app, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• When you create or join a group: first name, rental start date, rental length, and pickup point.
• When you contact us (FAQ or Partner forms): your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message.
• Your payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Stripe — we do not see or store your card details ourselves. Stripe also securely saves your card so a refundable deposit can be charged later if a radio isn't returned in the same working condition it was given out in; it's never charged otherwise.

Why we collect it

To create and manage your booking, coordinate radio collection and return, and respond to questions you send us. We don't use your data for advertising and don't sell it to anyone.

Who we share it with

• Google Cloud (Firestore) — stores your booking data on our behalf.
• Netlify — hosts this site and processes form submissions.
• Stripe — processes payment details directly.

We don't share your data with anyone else.

Cookies and local storage

We ask before setting any analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — you'll see a banner the first time you visit, and nothing is set unless you accept it; you can decline, or change your mind later by clearing your browser's site data for radiocal.com. Beyond that, this site stores a small amount of information in your browser's local storage — your language preference, and (for shop staff using the admin dashboard) a login token — purely to make the site work. None of this is used to track you across other sites.

How long we keep it

We keep booking data for as long as needed to run your trip and resolve any issues afterward, then delete it. Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to you.
